Overview

The TIKNU7+ is the coloured variant of the TIKNU7 drawing. The measurements do not move, 37 × 51 mm by 15 mm thick, nor does the material, titanium machined 100 %, nor the glass breaker tip that finishes the body. The surface is where it parts company: the metal takes an anodised finish in one tone, laying a clean colour over the piece while still letting the machining relief read through. The reference is published as a first run limited to 100 numbered pieces.

One hundred pieces, and a number on each

A first run capped at 100 numbered pieces says something plain: the first series stops there, and every example carries its rank. For a collector that number acts as an identity record. It places the piece inside a known production, it lets enthusiasts talk about it precisely, and it makes each example distinct from the other 99 even though they all come from the same drawing. Short runs are also easy to follow over time: you know how many exist, which is almost never true of a catalogue item carried over year after year.

Material: titanium, machined throughout. The footprint measures 37 millimetres by 51 and the body holds 15 millimetres of thickness from edge to edge. The finish comes from anodising in a single colour, with no paint and no added coating. A glass breaker tip extends the end of the body. The first series is bounded at 100 examples, each carrying its own number.

Care

An anodised piece asks only for a regular wipe: the colour is an oxide layer grown out of the metal, it will not peel and needs no wax to protect it. Clean with clean water if needed, dry it, and avoid leaving it at the bottom of a bag with hard objects that would scratch the coloured surface. No greasing is useful, since titanium does not oxidise in air.
