Max Knives KBPM — Storage case for 11 knives, nylon and fleece

Overview

The KBPM repeats the construction of the KBGM in a smaller format: it stores 11 knives instead of 22. You get the same nylon fabric, fleece lining, three velcro pads, double closure, press studs, strap, handle and two carabiners. The 11 clear slots break down into six small ones at 59 x 120 mm and five large ones at 72 x 120 mm.

Clear slots so you find without opening

Opening a closed case to hunt for a piece, pulling it out, putting it back, starting again further along: that is the one handling step too many, the one during which a knife falls or scratches another. Clear slots remove it. The case opens once, the eye runs across the eleven places, and only the wanted piece leaves its slot. On a stand, in a workshop or on the road, it is also what lets you check at a glance that nothing is missing before closing up.

Care

Clean the clear faces of the slots with a soft, slightly damp cloth and no abrasive product, which would cloud them and cost the case its whole point. The nylon outer takes warm soapy water; dry it open, in free air. Knives go away dry, and the case is stored closed somewhere dry. Rinse and dry a knife that has been used before it goes back into its slot.
