Overview

The ETUIMAXKNIVES is a black cordura pouch 134 mm long, 64 mm wide and 40 mm thick. It is the pouch supplied with the T1 and T2 multi-tool pliers, and it works just as well with folding knives whose handle measures between 11 and 12 centimetres. Its 40 mm of depth make it a pouch with volume, built for a tool with bulk rather than for a flat blade.

Cordura, a weave that takes punishment

Cordura is a tightly woven textile chosen for its abrasion resistance and its flexibility: it folds without breaking, creases without tearing and puts up with rubbing against a belt or the bottom of a bag. That flexibility has a direct effect on carry: the pouch follows the shape of the tool instead of imposing a rigid volume on it, and it packs down when empty. That is what sets it apart from a moulded sheath, and what lets it take a plier tool or a folder of equivalent handle length.

Care

A dry brush handles everyday dust; beyond that, warm soapy water and air drying away from a radiator suit cordura well. Empty the inside now and then of the filings and grains of sand that gather at the bottom and end up scratching whatever is stored there. Keep the pouch dry and never put a wet tool away inside it.
