Overview

The MKO4 is a full-size automatic: 174 mm deployed, a 68 mm double-edged 440C blade, and a 95 mm zinc-aluminium handle that gives the knife real presence in the hand. It opens by push-button, double action, and ships with its cordura sheath.

Uses

440C is a high-carbon stainless steel: it holds its edge and sharpens back without trouble. The glass breaker at the butt is genuine road-safety equipment. Between the clip and the cordura sheath, you can carry it in a pocket or on a belt.

Care

Wiping the blade after wet use and storing it dry keeps 440C looking as it left the workshop. A pass on a fine stone or a guided sharpener, at the factory angle, maintains the edge. A drop of light oil on the mechanism keeps the spring lively.
