Overview

The FPTP2530 is the small-format mouse pad in the Fred Perrin range: 25 cm by 30, and 3 mm thick. Its smooth surface takes optical mice and laser-sensor models alike, at a desk or through a gaming session. On the image side it carries the artwork that runs across every object in the series: a stylised karambit and the motto « Faire et... laisser braire ! ». It is a mouse pad, and it is also the quietest way of bringing the brand's world onto a working surface.

A format that sits beside the keyboard

Twenty-five centimetres by thirty is the classic size of a mouse pad, and there is a reason for it: it matches the travel of a hand over a few tens of centimetres, without eating into the space taken by a keyboard or by paper. The pad slides to the right or the left depending on your dominant hand, moves with one finger, and rolls up to fit in a bag. Three millimetres of thickness are enough to lift the mouse clear of an uneven desktop and to give the wrist a soft rest. For anyone who prefers one continuous surface under keyboard and mouse alike, the FPTP3060 takes the same drawing out to 30 x 60 cm.

Care

A mouse pad gets dirty from above and by contact: fingerprints, dust, crumbs. Cleaning is done with a barely damp sponge and a drop of mild soap, rubbing without pressing on the print, then rinsing with clean water. Leave it to dry flat afterwards, in open air and at room temperature, never on a radiator: the surface must be perfectly dry before the mouse goes back on it. Keep solvents and alcohol away, as they would damage the printed design.
