An all-440C steel build
Here the blade and the handle share the same 440C steel, unlike most folders, which pair a steel blade with composite or wooden scales. The result is a piece made of one material in one tone, with no applied scales to scratch through because there are none. Since 440C is a stainless steel, that consistency also applies to how the knife behaves around moisture, inside and out.

Care
An all-metal knife is simple to clean: warm soapy water, a soft brush, a rinse, then thorough drying with attention to the joint where water likes to sit. Wipe the whole knife with an oiled cloth before any long storage. The pivot takes a drop of light oil several times a year if the knife is in regular use. For sharpening, a few even passes on a stone keep a 46 mm blade in trim.
