Overview

The PARA30V offers 4 mm green paracord in a long length, thirty metres to be recut as needs arise. It is the all-round reserve: you take the guy lines of a shelter from it, the line of a camp drying rack, the tie of a trap, the length of an improvised stretcher, and then, back home, the strands of a braid and the ties of the garden. Green, discreet among plants, suits most of those uses without drawing attention.

A reserve for the whole season

The value of a long length lies in its availability: the cord stays in one place and you come back to it whenever something needs doing, without wondering whether enough is left. In summer it goes to camp and comes back shorter; in autumn it holds the stakes and nets of the vegetable patch; in winter it feeds the bench, where the remaining metres turn into bracelets, lanyards and dog collars. One shade running through all of it gives the kit a certain coherence.
