Overview

The P60S is the clip point balisong of the range in a silver finish. Its 93 mm blade is the shortest of the batch, yet also one of the thickest at 2.30 mm: a compact design that packs material into a short length. The skeletonised stainless handles measure only 8 mm across. The outcome is a knife of 214 mm open and 124 mm closed that settles at 97 g, sitting between the lightest models of the series and its heaviest ones.

The clip point and its dropped tip

A clip point is known by its spine, which looks as though it were sliced at an angle over the last third, as if a sliver had been taken off the top. That cut brings the point down, into line with the edge rather than the spine, and slims it. What you gain is precision: the tip enters material without the wrist having to lift. On a balisong the profile adds a very clear visual cue as well, since spine and belly look nothing alike, which helps you know which way the blade is facing in the middle of a fast sequence.

Care

At 8 mm thick, the handles leave little room between them, and that narrow gap is exactly where pocket dust settles. A regular pass with a fine brush or a cloth twisted to a point stops it building up around the blade tang. Beyond that, stainless steel asks only for a wipe after use and a drop of oil on the pivots from time to time. Store the knife with the latch engaged so the handles cannot shift.
