Overview
The MK512 pushes the line upwards: 257 mm overall, 330 g, a 135 mm tanto blade in 440C steel 4,5 mm thick and a 115 mm G10 handle, the longest of the four models. The stone washed black finish unifies the blade and the built in glass breaker completes the package. The knife arrives with its thermoformed kydex sheath, rigged on paracord so it can be lashed to a pack, a belt or a gear panel.
A tanto point on a large blade
Tanto geometry replaces the continuous curve with two straight runs meeting at an angle: the main edge stays flat, the tip section rises. On a 135 mm blade, that construction shows up above all on the straight edge, which offers a long single stretch of cutting length, and at the tip, which keeps the full spine thickness behind it. The MK512 is the only tanto of the line, facing two drop points and one double edged blade.

Care
After use, wash the blade with clean water, dry it and oil the steel, paying attention to the angled zone of the tanto tip where two planes meet. The G10 handle washes with a soapy sponge. The paracord on the sheath takes hand washing. Finally, empty the kydex shell regularly: on a 135 mm blade that rubs along its whole length at every handling, a clean interior preserves the finish.
