Overview

The MKSH1G10V is an eight-point throwing star from the MKSH1 series, cut from G10 to the snowflake outline shared across the range. The disc is 52 mm in diameter, the thickness is 1.5 mm, and a central hole takes a lanyard. It is a piece for target practice, made to be carried easily to wherever the target happens to be.

52 mm and 1.5 mm: a format that stows away

Fifty-two millimetres is the diameter of a disc that vanishes inside a closed palm and sits without a struggle in the front pocket of a bag. One and a half millimetres of thickness is little enough that several stars stack flat without adding bulk: four or five of them take up the room of a deck of cards. In practice that means a flat pouch rather than a box, a drawer rather than a shelf, and a full set carried out to the practice ground without a second thought.

Care

Since the format invites you to carry several pieces together, slide a piece of cloth between them so the branches do not mark one another in transit. After a session, a dry cloth takes off the dust; soapy water suits a full clean, as long as you dry it properly afterwards. G10 calls for no oil and no treatment, and stores flat once dry.
