What a neck knife is for

The principle is to remove the search. A pocket knife means finding the pocket, reaching in and pulling the object out; a neck knife is always in the same place, in the same orientation, and comes out in one movement. It rides flat against the body, under clothing, and stays forgotten until you need it.

Overview

The P280 uses a 70 mm tanto blade: the tip is picked up by a second cutting angle, which strengthens it considerably compared with a fine point. That is the right choice on a short knife meant for firm work. The handle is fibre-reinforced nylon (FRN), a stable, light technical plastic, and the rigid ABS sheath handles retention.

Care

Nothing special: wipe 440C after wet use, wash the nylon and ABS with soapy water. Check the carry cord from time to time — it is the only wearing part of the set.
