Overview

The NS152 is a five-point star of 90 mm diameter, cut from 3 mm of 420 stainless steel and given at 39 g. The silver finish leaves the metal in plain sight. Storage and transport

A sheath is no minor accessory when several metal pieces travel together. Nylon is a technical textile that dries fast, washes and stands up to rubbing, which suits an object that sometimes comes home damp from an outdoor session. The belt loop changes the logic of carrying: the star stays within reach during the session, on the hip rather than at the bottom of a bag, and returns to its place between throws. For long storage, a closed sheath also protects the tips from whatever else shares the drawer.

Care

For the nylon, gentle brushing lifts the dust caught in the weave, and air drying after a damp outing stops the sheath holding water against the piece. A light oil over the 39 g of steel finishes the job.
