Overview

The PA32 is the smallest format in the selection and the only one shaped as a ring. Sculpted in zinc alloy, it draws a skull whose cranium fills the full height of the band, that is 20 mm. Inside diameter is 22 mm, outside 27 mm: two and a half millimetres of material therefore separate the finger from the outer surface, which is what gives the motif its depth. A metal cord comes with the piece.

On the finger or around the neck

This is what sets the reference apart: it offers two ways of being worn. Slipped onto a finger it behaves as a statement ring, with a skull that stands well clear of the hand. Threaded onto the metal cord supplied it becomes a pendant worn at the neck, which frees it from finger size and makes it giftable without knowing the recipient's measurement. The dual arrangement also settles the question of storage, since something worn at the neck stays with you when pockets are full. Being metal, the cord matches the tone of the ring rather than clashing with it.

Care

Anything worn on a finger or at the neck picks up sweat and cosmetics: rinse it regularly in warm water, dry it completely and do not wait for deposits to settle in the hollows of the skull, where a soft-bristled brush works wonders. Zinc alloy has no love for perfume sprayed directly onto it, acidic products or long soaks. Take the ring off before the swimming pool and store it dry, with the cord kept separate to avoid rubbing.
